First Response Investigation

First Response Team: By this we mean, when an incident occurs, this team which may consist of one or more persons, attends your workplace to take relevant statements, obtain photographic evidence from all persons involved in the matter, then report and make recommendations to management. This would occur shortly after an incident or near miss and would assist should this incident become the subject of litigation at a later date.
The benefits would be having an accurate record of the incident shortly after it occurred, resulting in the information obtained being recorded whilst it was still clear in the memory of the persons involved. Statements taken long after the incident can be influenced by other persons and important facts may be forgotten due to the passing of time and/or the same situation not being able to be duplicated or re-enacted.
